Dr. Nikolaos Poulis

Dr. Nikolaos Poulis received his Dental Technology degree (BSc) from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens in 2005. He continued his studies at the Queen Mary University of London obtaining his MSc in Dental Materials in 2006. His PhD was awarded from the University of Athens in 2014, with a dissertation on the antimicrobial action of ozone and its impact on the dimensional stability and the surface of dental impression materials.

For ten years (2007-2017). He ran his Dental Laboratory in Athens specialising in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics using contemporary materials and techniques. In parallel, he was a Laboratory Associate at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, where he supervised a large number of dissertations.

In 2017, he was appointed a Lecturer in Dental Technology at the University of Bolton. Since 2020, he is a Senior Lecturer in Dental Technology and the Programme Lead of the MSc Digital Dental Technology at the University of Bolton.
